== Player Drop Off and Pickup ==
Parents will be allowed to drop off before the first match, however, there is absolutely NO PICKUP LINE at the front door. This means no stopping or waiting to pick up players after their wave is complete. PLEASE RELAY THIS TO YOUR PARENTS. They will be asked to move their vehicles.
== Admission ==
There is a $5.00 admission fee for ALL spectators ages 6 and older. Children 5 and under are free. The size and popularity of the league has caused us to implement an admission fee which helps defer the cost of building supervision and cleaning.
== Matches ==
Each team will play two matches in succession. The teams will be placed into four team brackets played on two adjacent courts.
Teams will play three games automatically for each match. First two games to 25 points, third game to 15. If you win your first match, you will play the winner of the adjacent court, if you lose, you will play the loser of the adjacent court.
== Team Movement ==
Each week we will move at least two teams from each four team bracket.
Each year we get questions in our office about why a team has played twice in the same timeslot. Often it is because the team moved up or down into another bracket. The SAME bracket is never scheduled for the same timeslot, but if your team moves up or down, they may have moved into an adjacent bracket that now plays during that time the the next playday.
== Officials ==
All matches will be officiated by Northern Lights players. They will handle all responsibilities of the first official.
== Parent Scorekeepers ==
All teams are responsible for asking one team parent to keep score each match. Your team parents should be made aware that part of their responsibility is to keep score at least 1-2 times over the course of the league. Matches will not begin until a parent from each team is at the score table. Please be sure your parents understand this expectation upfront. We often have delayed starts to matches because coaches have to track down someone willing to keep score.
One parent will work the electronic scoreboard. One parent will keep score on a very simple scoresheet.
PLAYER RELEASE FORM (4-6th grade only)
We will have a printed copy for each player on the first night that they will need to return to their team coach at their next practice. You can also print out and bring to practice if you prefer.
We are excited to announce that we are launching a Fall Season designed to give more athletes an opportunity to play organized volleyball during the fall season!
